Floating The Babble Of The Pilot Of A Zeppelin Made Of Lead

On the eve of the blitzkrieg that Jim Shepard's Super-Pac will soon unleash on all British Columbians, today's fluff piece under Ian Bailey's byline in the Globe is, in my opinion at least, downright unbelievable.

Here is the, to put it mildly, 'news-free' lede:

It’s been a long time since a poll offered any good news for the BC Liberals, but Premier Christy Clark is bullish about attracting new candidates to run for the governing party as it seeks a fourth term in the 2013 provincial election.

The Liberals are running behind the New Democrats. Their centre-right coalition is being split by a surge in support for the BC Conservatives. Many suggest the BC Liberals are headed for opposition.

Yet Ms. Clark said Monday the Liberals have identified some promising candidates, and some have approached her about running for the party.
“[They] are really genuine star candidates – people who bring a breadth of experience from across the sector, whether that’s the private sector, the non-profit sector, the academic sector,” Ms. Clark told reporters at an unrelated news conference. “I am very hopeful and confident that we will put together a great team of people. We are going to renew the BC Liberal team going into this election.”
She declined to identify the political prospects, but said some details will emerge in coming months....

****

So.

No new poll numbers as alluded to in the opening line.

And no names of new star candidates as kinda/sorta/almost promised by Premier Photo-op.

That's some story, eh?

Of course, buried deep beneath the lede is an actual smidgeon of something, which is the brewing Dipper nomination battle between George Heyman and Geoff Meggs in VanFairview

Hmmmm....

Could it be that BellGlobeTSNRDIBlahBlahBlahEverythingElseMedia is doing a little advance trolling for Super-Pac Ad dollars?

On the topic of recruitment of star candidates for the BC Liberals, Ian Bailey quoted Clark as saying "I wouldn't necessarily qualify government union leaders as star candidates, so I am hoping we can find some people who are real stars out there." A somewhat arrogant remark.

Christy is already sucking up. She is permitting People on E.I. to work and bring in extra cash, up to $200.00 per month.

Remember how Campbell sucked up, he would reduce our taxes by 15%, if we allowed him to stay on as leader....and how quick he took that away from the BC citizens...because we didn't believe him, nor trust him?

The Campbell/Clark BC Liberals and Boessenkool, are all Harper's henchmen.

This is the fluff before the election. What happens after the election should the moon, the sun, earth, saturn, uranus pluto and mars align and they win the elecion, will be entirely different. The improvements will be quickly forgotten because the province is broke. We gave all the money to the corporations. What a joke she is!

Most likely the "star candidates" will simply be more un-indicted felons, just like the current caucus!
