Railgate Revisited...What The Ledgie Boys Said Then.

Last night Bob Mackin ran a decent, if somewhat superficial, recap of RailGate and interviewed a number of the major player in the 4th installment of the 'Investigator' series on CKNW (no audio vault recording but should show up as a pod, here, soon).

Importantly, Mr. Mackin's effort does, I think, demonstrate why a full public inquiry into this matter is needed.

And, as an important sidebar (if only because I think it demonstrates why the Campbell/Clark government has been able to skate away from this travesty relatively unscathed so far) the highest of the high profile Lotuslandian pro-pundits did not come off well for all kinds of reasons, including either their dismissiveness or their total absence from Mr. Mackin's doc.

Given that, we thought it might be worth revisiting what two of those pundits had to say about folks in the bloggodome who were very concerned about the travesty back in the day (ie. 2009)...

If You're Concerned About RailGate.....

....You Are The Member Of A Cult!

So say the Ledgie Boys, Vaughn Palmer and Keith Baldrey.

Seriously.

Because, as Mr. Baldrey told the Goodship Watercarrier this morning:

" The BC Rail trial has faded from the Public Consciousness...."

Oh, really, Mr. Baldrey?

And why is that, exactly Mr. TeeVee Man?

And just so you know, Mr. Palmer, who works for the print-side of the same Media Monopoly as the TeeVee man was nice enough to state:

"Not that there's anything wrong with cults....
